Good understanding of architecture of Ethernet switching software, preferably Broadcom. Should have worked in development / maintenance of layer-2 protocols

Should have worked in SNMP, CLI & Web (preferably using Emweb)

Good domain knowledge in L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing covering 802.1Q VLANs, 802.1s MSTP, 802.3ad standards, WLAN. Exposure to unicast and multicast routing protocols is desirable.

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics Engg. with 6-8 years industry experience covering following areas:

Should have worked in a multi-threaded environment and should be comfortable using debuggers in real time environment

Should have solid experience in low level programming using C in Vxworks and Linux embedded platforms; should possess good software engineering skills and programming skills

Should have excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams

Job Description: Need to work in integrating and porting L2/L3 protocol stack on Ethernet switching ASICs, WLAN. Need to have worked on management interfaces like SNMP, CLI & Web. Will be responsible for delivering and reviewing functional spec and design documents; will be also responsible for coding and development test of the assigned modules. Expected to provide technical directions to the team members and review their work. Also expected to work with internal teams across the globe as well as with customers on technical issues.
